Annual Fort Union Rendezvous set for June 12-15
WILLISTON – The 42nd Annual Fort Union Rendezvous will take place as scheduled from Thursday, June 12, through Sunday, June 15, at the Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site near Williston.
According to Williston Convention and Visitors Bureau information, the regional tradition draws participants and visitors from across North Dakota, Montana and beyond to experience a living history reenactment that honors the fur trade era. Guests will enjoy black powder shooting demonstrations, period crafts, traditional music and interpretive talks that bring 19th-century frontier life to vibrant life.
There will be historical vendors selling authentic and unique merchandise. Admission and parking will be free for all visitors, according to Fort Union Trading Post information.
