State communicators conference set for May

North Dakota Professional Communicators will hold its spring conference, “Beyond Words: The Power of Authentic Leadership Communications” on Friday, May 9, at the Carnegie Center in Minot.

The event begins at 8 a.m. and is open to organization members, nonmembers and students.

In the keynote, “Leadership Through Storytelling,” Rachel Brewster, a communication coach and corporate trainer, Minneapolis, will speak on communicating with clarity, confidence and credibility. Breakout sessions will be held featuring speakers from around the state on a generational workforce, communicating in the high stakes environment around the FM Area Diversion project, crafting a brand story that resonates and content creation ethics.
