Colonel Daniel Haugen, North Dakota Highway Patrol superintendent, has announced the Accreditation Public Comment Portal for the NDHP is now open.

The NDHP has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) since 1989, and has received meritorious recognition for being accredited for more than 15 continuous years.

The NDHP must comply with more than 350 professional public safety standards to maintain its accreditation status. The public comment portal will be open from March 3-May 9, allowing community members to provide feedback regarding the agency’s performance and quality of service.

The public can access the portal at https://cimrs2.calea.org/890. The CALEA portal also can be accessed through the NDHP website.
