Class offered on dementia-related behaviors

BISMARCK – The Alzheimer’s Association and North Dakota State University Extension will offer a free presentation, Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors, on Wednesday, March 5, from noon-1:30 p.m.

This class outlines how dementia can cause changes in a person’s behavior, including how a person may communicate. Learn about the possible reasons for behaviors and ways to address them, including nonmedical and medical approaches. Also learn to recognize when additional help is needed.

This presentation is free and open to the public; registration is required by contacting the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota. This project is funded through the North Dakota Department of Health & Human Services, Adult & Aging Services Section.
