WHITE SHIELD – Old #8 diner is the first restaurant to open in the community of White Shield.
The diner opened this fall and is the latest project from Fred Fox, recently re-elected East Segment representative to the Three Affiliated Tribes business council.
“We have always wanted to pursue a sustainable economy, food and energy in White Shield. This will take care of our grandchildren into the future,” said Fox.
“The diner was something the community wanted to bring back a place where they can come eat and visit with family. As we have a lot to be thankful for, we want to continue to take care of our elders and children,” Fox added.
According to one of its customers, “The diner has a wonderful atmosphere, so welcoming and a nice menu.”
