Alzheimer’s Association to offer free webinar
BISMARCK – The Alzheimer’s Association will offer a free webinar presentation titled “10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s” on Thursday, Nov. 7, from noon-1 p.m.
This presentation is free and open to the public. Registration is required by contacting the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-Dakota Chapter. This project is funded through the North Dakota Department of Health & Human Services, Adult & Aging Services Section.
The presentation will provide information on how to recognize common signs of the disease, how to approach someone about memory concerns, the importance of early detection and benefits of a diagnosis, possible tests and assessments for the diagnostic process and Alzheimer’s Association resources.
The Alzheimer’s Association also will host the final session in its Lunch and Learn series on Wednesday, Nov. 13, on Zoom from noon-1 p.m.
The final topic in the series is “Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body: Tips from the Latest Research.” Get insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help keep the brain and body healthy as you age. Learn about research in diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations.
