Teens invited to write about what ND means to them
BISMARCK — The State Historical Society of North Dakota is inviting N.D. teens ages 13-18 to submit an original work interpreting the theme “What North Dakota Means to Me” to the 2025 “Teen Takeover” contest, according to a news release.
This year’s theme encourages participants to reflect on their connection to the state and express what makes N.D. special to them. Whether through 2D visual art or written creative expression, teens are encouraged to bring their unique voices and visions to life.
The deadline for submissions is Dec. 1. Finalists’ work will be exhibited in spring 2025 at the N.D. Heritage Center & State Museum in Bismarck. For more information contact the State Historical Society of N.D.
