The Minot Fire Department was dispatched to a fire Thursday that damaged a mobile home in Western Village Mobile Home Park.

According to city information, crews responded to the scene shortly after 7 p.m., finding heavy amounts of fire in the front section of the home. Firefighters made entry into the home and extinguished the fire. No one was in the residence at the time of the fire, but two dogs were located in the rear of the home. The dogs were uninjured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
