Ranch, affiliates seat new board members

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch seated four new board members in August at board meetings of Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Foundation and Dakota Family Services, according to a news release from the organization.

Patrick Berg joined the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Program Board of Directors. Berg is the director and co-founder of Mountain Community School in Donnelly, Idaho. He brings more than 20 years of educational experience to the Ranch’s board of directors.

Anne Friederichs joined the Dakota Family Services Board of Directors. Friederichs is a behavioral technician at Westside Elementary in West Fargo.

Tracy Jordre and Bill Mobley joined the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Foundation Board of Directors.

Jordre, a principal architect at JLG Architects, volunteers with Oak Grove School in Fargo, United Way of Cass Clay County’s Community Impact Committee, the North Dakota State University Architecture Department,and the City of Fargo’s Growth Advisory Committee. Jordre is the secretary of the North Dakota chapter of the American Institute of Architects and chair of the City of Fargo, Arts & Culture Commission.

Mobley, a consulting engineer at Enterprise Precast Concrete, is involved in building the new Kansas City airport and has been the treasurer for his church since 1979. He and his wife donate regularly to support Ranch programs.

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is a Christ-centered residential treatment and educational center for children and their families. The Ranch provides outpatient psychiatric and psychological services through Dakota Family Services.
