Grants awarded for opioid response, youth services

BISMARCK - The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced the award of $4.25 million to North Dakota, according to a news release from U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-ND.

The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services through the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment will receive $4 million to strengthen the state's opioid response.

Mountain Plains Youth Services, Inc., will receive $250,000 to support its transitional living program for young young adults between the ages of 18 to 21.
