Suspect arrested for assault at State Fair
The Ward County Sheriff Department announced Friday an arrest had been made in relation to a reported assault during the Lil’ Wayne concert at the North Dakota State Fair on July 24.
Jaeger Lundeen, 22, Minot, was arrested on Friday and charged with a single count of aggravated assault, a Class C felony.
According to the sheriff’s department, multiple witnesses reported that at about 10:40 p.m., they observed two females in an altercation in the standing room area of the grandstand, during which both females ended up on the floor. While the women were on the floor, witnesses observed a male kick one of the women in the head, resulting in serious bodily injury.
The sheriff’s department sought the public’s help in the investigation, leading to the identification of Lundeen as the suspect. Lundeen is being held at the Ward County Detention Center pending his initial appearance in North Central District Court.
