All City of Minot offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 2, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

There will be no public transit on Sept. 2, and the City of Minot landfill will be closed. There will be no garbage pickup. The next garbage pickup after Aug. 29 for residents with Monday/Thursday collection will be Thursday, Sept. 5.

The Minot Public Library will be closed on Sept. 2.

For water service emergencies, residents should call 852-0111.

The regular Minot City Council meeting on the first Monday of the month has been scheduled for Tuesday, Sept.3, at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.
