One of the drivers involved in a two vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 83 near Garrison on Aug. 8 has died, according to a Minot funeral home.

According to McLean County Sheriff’s Office, Anita Arnold, 71, Bismarck, was driving south in a 2006 Ford Mustang GT on Highway 83 when her vehicle struck a 2015 GMC Sierra driven by Dustin Seidler, 40, Garrison, as his vehicle was turning onto Highway 83 at the intersection with N.D. Highway 37. The GMC Sierra rolled over onto its side, and the Mustang came to rest in the median.

Arnold, Seidler and a passenger of the GMC Sierra were all transported to a Garrison hospital for treatment for suspected serious and minor injuries. Arnold was later transported to a Minot hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Seidler was cited for failing to yield at the stop sign at the intersection.
