Vandalism incident occurs at new Minot North High School
A vandalism incident is being investigated at the new Minot North High School, according to a news release from Minot Public Schools Superintendent Scott Faul.
Faul said the vandalism occurred Tuesday night, and MPS is actively collaborating with the Minot Police Department in its investigation of the incident.
“It’s relatively minor in scope, but certainly aggravating. We’re working with the police department to see if we can get some footage from cameras” Faul said.
Faul told The Minot Daily News the vandalism involved spray-painted graffiti and damage to sheetrock in two areas, which have since been patched and replaced.
“Despite this unfortunate event, we want to assure our community that the start of the school year will not be impacted. Minot North will be ready to welcome staff and students in August as scheduled,” according to the release.
