Minot rolls out new bus routes

New Southwest and North bus routes in Minot will begin operating Monday, according to the City of Minot.

The Southwest route will leave Minot Municipal Auditorium to go south on Sixth Street Southwest to cover the area lost to the changed Southeast route. It will travel along 20th Avenue Southwest to service the businesses along that corridor, then continue south on 16th Street Southwest and west on 36th Avenue Southwest to provide service to Trinity Hospital. It will return to the auditorium north on 16th Street Southwest to provide service to the businesses west of 16th Street and CVS Pharmacy.

The North route will stay on North Broadway to 34th Avenue Northeast. It will provide service to Job Service, areas north of the Minot International Airport and the area west of North Broadway between 30th and 36th Avenues Northwest, including Erik Ramstad Middle School. It will return to the auditorium from 36th Avenue south on Broadway.

Minot City Transit buses operate Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
