The Minot Police Department announced Thursday that the body found in a southwest Minot business on July 2 has been identified as Mark Ramon McMillan, 36, Minot.

Minot Police are investigating the incident as a murder, but according to City of Minot information, no arrests have been made in connection with McMillan’s deatha and the investigation is ongoing.

Minot Police previously announced the discovery of the body after a search warrant was issued for a building in the 200 block of Main Street South, as a part of the search for McMillan, who had been reported missing in early April.

McMillan’s body was located in the building’s basement and transported to the medical examiner’s office in Grand Forks to establish identification and cause of death.
