Former commander nominated for two stars

Colin Connor

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. – Air Force Brig. Gen. Colin Connor, former commander of the 91st Missile Wing at Minot Air Force Base, has been nominated for appointment to the grade of major general.

Major general is a two-star general officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Connor was commander of the 91st Missile Wing from June 2016-August 2018. He is currently serving as the director of the Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Site Activation Task Force, Air Force Global Strike Command, at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.

Connor’s nomination was among a number of nominations recently made by President Biden and announced by Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin III.
