DUNSEITH – The 47th Annual International Old-Time Fiddle Contest was held June 8 at the International Peace Garden. Fiddlers participated from Arizona, New Mexico, North Dakota and Manitoba for trophies and cash prizes totaling more than $2,000.

Results of the contest were:

– Senior, first, Diane Graham, Winkler, Manitoba: second, Morris Sametz, Winnipeg; third, Joyce Gagnon, Portage La Prairie, Manitoba.

– Adult, first, Neihaus, Fargo; second, Phil Veldhuis, Starbuck; third, Justine Sawka, Steinbach, Manitoba; fourth, Julie Doner, Winnipeg.
