Job Corps to host community open house

The Quentin N. Burdick Job Corps Center will host a summer open house for the community Tuesday, June 25, from 4-7 p.m. at the center at 1500 University Ave. W.

There will be food, entertainment, interactive trade booths and tours available. Trades offered at the center are automotive, certified nursing assistant, culinary, carpentry, office administration, welding and business construction technology.

Job Corps, which has had a presence in Minot for 30 years, is a free career training program for youth ages 16 to 24 who qualify.
