WSC to break ground on healthcare facility

WILLISTON – Williston State College wll hold a ground-breaking ceremony for its new state-of-the-art Healthcare Training Facility, in collaboration with JLG, JE Dunn and the Williston Chamber of Commerce, on Tuesday, May 21, at 2:30 pm on the college campus.

The more than $36 million facility is expected to offer a range of programs that local healthcare providers have long sought. Among the proposed programs are radiation tech, surgical tech and nursing. Additionally, partnerships with institutions such as the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks for behavioral health programs and Minot State University for addiction studies will further enhance the offerings to address critical healthcare needs in the area.

Construction of the Healthcare Training Facility is projected to take 12 to 15 months.
