WILLISTON – The search for a Williston woman has been missing since Feb. 25 continues despite activity on her Facebook account.

Breeanna Nicole Ward, 27, Williston, was last seen on Feb. 25 and reported missing to the Williston Police Department on Feb. 28. Ward is reported to be 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weigh 125 pounds with dark auburn hair. A release dated March 4 from WPD wasn’t able to provide a clothing description but disabused reported contact from individuals who believed they were communicating with her on the social media site.

“Individuals have claimed to have communicated with her, but law enforcement has not been able to make contact at this time. Her Facebook appears to be being updated by someone other than Breeanna,” the release said.

Williston police said they have received and followed up on several tips but no updates to the March 4 release were available as of Friday. They said Ward has family in the Fairview, Montana, area.

Williston police ask anyone with information regarding Ward’s whereabouts to call 577-1212.
