The Minot Police Department is investigating the death of a 66-year-old Minot woman.

Officers were dispatched on Sunday about 8:30 a.m., to northwest Minot for reports of a person lying on the ground. Once on the scene, in the area of Kodiak and 36th Avenue Northwest, officers discovered the deceased woman. The woman has been identified and her family has been notified. No foul play is suspected, according to the report.
