A 15-year-old juvenile was charged with felony terrorizing following an investigation by Minot Police in connection with an online threat to Erik Ramstad Middle School in Minot Thursday.

Police were notified of the threat toward the school around 1 p.m., after it was posted to a social media platform.

“Out of an abundance of caution and in cooperation with school officials, police continued to provide an extra presence to ensure the safety of Ramstad’s students, faculty, and staff,” police said in a statement.

Anyone knowing someone who has suspicion of a threat, should contact the school administration and authorities immediately.
