MHA Nation’s K9 Unit assists with search of missing Williston man
WILLISTON — The Williams County Sheriff’s Office reports the search for a missing Williston man continues despite weeks of searching by law enforcement and civilian volunteers.
Roger Shelton was first reported missing on Jan. 5, and was last sighted at the Black Gold Casino on the Montana border that evening. WCSO detective Daniel Ward said that Shelton left his vehicles and other personal belongings like his phone and wallet at his residence. Ward said the MHA Nation’s K-9 unit assisted with a search of Shelton’s residence, but that no new information was uncovered.
A $10,000 reward is still being offered by a private group for any information leading to the whereabouts and safe return of Shelton.
