EPIC ready to make splash in Fargo with waterpark

FARGO — The Wave Waterpark Resort by EPIC is ready to begin construction in Fargo, EPIC Companies has announced. Soft opening is planned for December 2025.

The finalized financing for the project has come in at about $73.8 million, according to EPIC Companies. The North Dakota Department of Commerce recently announced the award of $3 million to the waterpark resort and hotel project from the North Dakota Development Fund.

The 50,000-square-foot indoor waterpark will serve the public as well as guests at the connected hotel and will run its Wave Runner bus to bring guests from other area hotels.

IMAGINE Hotels by EPIC, now in the Choice Hotel Ascend Collection, will offer 135 rooms on four stories and a ground-floor restaurant with lounge, meeting spaces, party rooms and a family entertainment center with mini-bowling and other games. The waterpark’s Tiki Bar will provide a spot for adults, and the Kidz Club will be a space for arts and crafts, catering to younger guests.

The Wave Waterpark Resort is a part of a larger vision that EPIC Companies created called EOLA by EPIC. EOLA’s first building, opening this winter, called Makt, will have condos, commercial space and apartments. EOLA also has a four-acre park that will include an ice rink, stage, art/culture elements and walking paths.
