Alzheimer’s Association offers webinar Feb. 28

The Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota will offer a no-cost, virtual presentation on Wednesday, Feb. 28, to help those impacted by dementia understand how to maintain intimate relationships during the caregiving process.

“For people living with dementia and their caregivers, relationships often look different over time,” said Julie Praska-Moser, Alzheimer’s Association program manager. “This presentation will talk about ways to cope with changing feelings, how to keep these relationships healthy and how caregivers can find help and resources when they need them.”

Speakers will also explore intimacy and sexuality in aging for those in long-term care settings.

This online presentation will take place from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and is open to the public. Contact the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota to register.

This project is supported by funding through the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services’ Adult and Aging Services Section.
