District 38 Republicans appoint House member

District 38 Republicans have announced the appointment of JoAnne Radermacher to fill the North Dakota House of Representatives seat vacated with the resignation of Larry Bellew at the end of 2023.

Rademacher has been active in many organizations throughout her life as she farmed and ranched with her husband, Daryl, and their children near Foxholm.

She grew up in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, where her family operated a small business. Upon her marriage in 1977, she moved to the farm near Foxholm.

“JoAnne is a staunch conservative who is a firm believer and follower of the North Dakota Republican platform,” District 38 Republican Chairman Roger Neshem said in the announcement. “The Executive Committee is pleased she has accepted this appointment to fulfill the remainder of Representative Bellew’s term with her outstanding conservative values and dedication to the people of District 38.”

Rademacher joins Senate Majority Leader David Hogue and Rep. Dan Ruby in representing the district in Bismarck.
