LAKE METIGOSHE - Metigoshe Ministries is holding its 53rd annual "Nights of Christmas" on Dec. 27, 28 and 29 at 7 p.m. each evening at the Lakeside Christian Center.
The returning summer staff of Camp Metigoshe will be joined by special guests for a combined Christmas program of music, laughter and worship, highlighted by the sight of thousands of lights hanging in the trees. No tickets are required; each evening a free-will offering will be taken for the continuing ministry of the camp.
Special musical guest on Dec. 27 will be the Midnight Groove Orchestra, a jazz ensemble composed of Minot State jazz band students.
The guest on Dec. 28 will be Sunday Saari, who will bring a campy, theatrical-inspired performance and sound. She is newly based in New York and has performed her live original shows for crowds across the United States and internationally, including Manhattan, Cairo Egypt, Pittsburg Minneapolis and Portland, Oregon.
On Dec. 29, Steve Harmon of Bismarck, will perform. Harmon is a composer, recording artist, church song leader and performer. He has recorded five albums of original music and published three songbooks. As a solo performer, Harmon offers shows in five musical styles: old cowboy, '50s and '60s, folk, country and Christmas.
