The Minot Area Chamber EDC's Community Leadership Institute conducted a campaign with the proceeds going to Lutheran Campus Ministries Food Bank at Minot State University. The CLI group's campaign raised $5,428 in monetary donations, 1,173.4 pounds of food bank supplies, and an additional $1,000 through Minot Area Community Foundation's Donation Station, which matched $1,000 for the 1,000 pounds of food, bringing the monetary donation to $6,428. Madison Helms, a member of the CLI group, presented the donations on Nov. 2 to Paul Brekke, Minot State University Wellness Center director, and Sophia Rammell, Lutheran Campus Ministries chair and MSU representative, who accepted on behalf of Lutheran Campus Ministries.
