Renae Korslien, former general manager of the North Dakota State Fair, has been honored with the prestigious Hall of Fame award by The Heartland Association of Fairs, Festivals, and Events (HAFFE).
The induction ceremony took place on Saturday, Nov. 18.
The Hall of Fame award is presented annually to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and a lasting impact on the community.
"I am deeply honored and humbled to be inducted into the Hall of Fame by The Heartland Association of Fairs, Festivals, and Events. This recognition is a testament to the collaborative efforts of the incredible teams and partners I have had the privilege to work with throughout my career. I am grateful for the support of the Heartland community and excited to continue contributing to the vibrant world of fairs and events," said Korslien.
Korslien has had a 50 year career with the North Dakota State Fair. She announced her retirement in August.
The Heartland Association of Fairs, Festivals, and Events is an organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the fair and festival industry.
