WILLISTON – A school resource officer with the Williston Police Department is being investigated after a report was made alleging threats and use of excessive force against a juvenile.

According to Williston Police, the report was received on Sept. 29. Jory Forsberg was accused of threatening and then using excessive force against a juvenile at the Williston High School Homecoming game. Forsberg has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the results of the investigation and any potential disciplinary action. The investigation is being performed by the Williston Police Department administration with support from the Williston Human Resources Department and the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
