Minot Parks hosts Pumpkin Walk
Minot Parks will host the 4th Annual Pumpkin Walk at Woodland Trail from 6-9 p.m. today and Saturday.
The Pumpkin Walk at Woodland Trail is a free event. Food trucks will be present, and due to high demand, Minot Parks has added an extra hour to the event.
The Minot Park District is asking Pumpkin Walk participants to use the parking lot at the Dakota Bark Park and follow the walking path to Woodland Trail. The Dakota Bark Park is located at 705 Highway 83 Bypass W. Minot. The Woodland Trail parking lot will be reserved for handicap-accessible parking.
Participants also should dress warmly for the walk and bring their flashlights.
Minot Parks is still accepting pumpkin pledges. The goal is to fill Woodland Trail with more than 1,000 pumpkins. The Minot Park District will provide lights and set up. The pumpkins can be dropped off today between 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
To make your pumpkin pledge, contact Juan Vadell at juan@minotparks.com or call the Minot Parks office at 857-4136.
With a donation of 10 or more pumpkins, donors will receive signage at their pumpkin displays with their business names. The signage is provided by Minot Parks.
