Eloise Ogden/MDN Ron Tolzin, left, an Air Force veteran from Minot, gets a flu shot from Mindy Ledene at the Minot VA Clinic booth during the North Central Veterans Stand Down on Thursday. Tolzin served in the Air Force from 1982-2008. Sixty-five veterans and 16 spouses arrived at the Veterans Stand Down during its first half hour, with more expected during the day. Fifty-four booths were set up in the Armed Forces Reserve Center to provide information and services for veterans.
