Fall migration is coming to an end, with the gathering of the smaller hawks and smaller insect eaters.

These photos by Karen LoneFight were taken in McLean County at lakes, sloughs and rural roadways.

"A kettle of over 50 Swainson's hawks landed right over me one mile north of White Shield School. Swainson's were all over on the ground, sitting closely together in a tree," said LoneFight.

Lenses used for the photos ranged from 300-800 mm.
