Minot State University has announced the new Academic Excellence Scholarship for incoming freshmen will replace the existing Automatic 4-Year Award. The new scholarship is determined by a student’s final unweighted GPA where they can receive a total of $2,500-$10,000 split evenly between four years.

New freshmen admitted by Feb. 15 that meet academic standards are automatically eligible for the scholarship. Additional scholarships are available through Minot State — applications for the 2024-25 Minot State Scholarship open Dec. 1 and close Feb. 15, 2024.
