Top honors were awarded to a number of Ward County 4-H'ers in the North Dakota State Fair livestock, horse and small animals competitions.
Awards in the beef division went to:

-- Elizabeth Hanson, Velva, early summer yearling heifer, grand champion in class and reserve champion in all-other-breeds heifer; grand champion in intermediate beef showmanship, Round Robin participant.
-- Emily Merck, Granville, early summer yearling heifer, grand champion in class.

4-H poultry winners were Allaina Granzow, Minot, with grand champion duck, and Danny Kersten, Max, with grand champion hen older than one year and best of show, grand champion guinea and grand champion pigeon.
Rabbit awards went to: Kersten, reserve champion, New Zealand breed, and champion, intermediate rabbit showmanship; Tatum Ehli, Minot, grand champion in all other breeds; Brexton Ehli, Minot, reserve champion in all other breeds and reserve champion in intermediate rabbit showmanship.
Horse show results, senior division, included the following awards:
-- Emily Fannik, Max, first in reining, third in keyhole, fourth in equitation over fences, sixth in ranch riding.
-- Macey Moore, Berthold, first in keyhole, pole bending, western horsemanship, showmanship at halter, equitation over fences, hunt seat equitation, high points senior, and second in reining, third in barrel racing, fifth in trail, western pleasure and hunter under saddle.
-- Anne Schauer, Carpio, second in ranch riding and equitation over fences, third in western horsemanship and showmanship at halter, fifth in hunter hack and high point senior and sixth in hunter under saddle.
-- Mackenzie Wipf, Ryder, sixth in hunter hack.
-- Allison Greathouse, Minot, second in goat tying and pole bending, fourth in barrel racing.
Horse show results, intermediate division, included the following:
-- Olivia Johnson, Max, second in pole bending, third in western horsemanship, reining, equitation over fences and hunter under saddle, fourth in barrel racing and high point intermediate and sixth in keyhole and trail.
-- Barrett Myre, Sawyer, fifth in reining and hunter under saddle.
-- Hailey Schauer, Carpio, second in reining, equitation over fences and high point intermediate, third in western pleasure and hunt seat equitation, fourth in pole bending, trail, hunter under saddle and sixth in goat tying, barrel racing, western horsemanship and showmanship at halter.
Junior division winners in the horse show were:
