University of North Dakota faculty and administrators will tour northern North Dakota when they embark on the school's 31st annual bus tour Aug.14-16.
This year's route will allow travelers to explore the International Peace Garden, north unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park and travel through or near communities such as Dunseith, Belcourt, Minot, Tioga and Watford City.
UND Provost Eric Link and Vice President for Student Affairs Art Malloy will co-host this year's bus tour and will be joined by about 30 first or second-year UND faculty and administrators.
Throughout the tour, participants will learn more about North Dakota agriculture, education, tourism, energy development, government and business from experts in the field.
During the Minot stop, the group will have breakfast with high-achieving UND scholars and their parents at the Vardon Golf Course.
They also are scheduled to visit the Scandinavian Heritage Park on Monday and UND Center for Family Medicine on Wednesday.
