GARRISON -- The next hike in Fort Stevenson State Park's Evening Hike Series is the Sunset Hike to be held from 8-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2.
The ranger-guided hike will start from the park visitor center trailhead and continue to a stop to enjoy the sunset. The hike is a 12 month, 12 hikes qualifying trail.
This is the fifth of six hikes planned in the Evening Hike Series. The series takes place throughout the year and each hike offers a unique outdoor experience.
The park charges a $7 vehicle entrance fee unless a current North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department annual pass is displayed. Fort Stevenson State Park is located three miles south of Garrison.
