DENVER - Phoenix Capital Group Holdings, LLC, a family-owned oil and gas mineral rights acquisition enterprise in Denver, has announced further expansion into North Dakota after its most recent acquisition in Williams County.
The newly formed Phoenix Operating LLC will be based in North Dakota as an exploration and production company and subdivision of Phoenix Capital Group Holdings LLC. Phoenix Operating LLC's mission is to unlock the potential of unconventional mineral assets. The company will be drilling, completing, and producing its own wells, the first of which will begin later this year. Its drilling operations will be centered in Mountrail and Williams counties.
Phoenix Operating LLC formed in 2023 and is focused on the DJ Basin in Colorado and Wyoming, the Powder River Basin in Montana and Wyoming and the Williston Basin in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and parts of Canada.
The field team will be led by Christ Marshall as managing director of Field Operations. He has more than 15 years of involvement in the industry.
