Dinner on the Prairie brings together community, ag producers

Local ag producers had the opportunity to share a multicourse meal, conversation and education with Minot community members who aren’t connected with agriculture during Dinner on the Prairie.
The event was held Tuesday, Aug. 1, near South Prairie School, south of Minot, with more than 230 guests attending along with producers and volunteers from the Minot region. There were crop examples and producer tables for consumers to learn about what is grown in North Dakota. The appetizers, family-style meal and dessert were made with North Dakota-grown products. The meal was prepared by Jeremy Mahaney of The Starving Rooster.
Dinner on the Prairie is presented by the Minot Area Chamber EDC Agribusiness Committee. The presenting sponsor of the event is Town & Country Credit Union and numerous other sponsors.
