NEW SALEM - The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the victim of a motorcycle crash occurring near New Salem on Saturday.
Tami Petersen-Ness, 56, Minot, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Her motorcycle and a motorcycle driven by Stephanie Murray, 37, Wilton, sideswiped each other on County Road 139, two miles east of New Salem. They were among a group of about 60 motorcycles traveling on the road.
