MCHENRY -- A Binford man was killed when his motorcycle left a roadway in Foster County this week, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol..
The Griggs County Sheriff's Office had received a call Wednesday July 19, at 7:45 p.m. about a missing person. A deputy located the individual, Brian Sherman Swanson, 56, after discovering his motorcycle on the south side of 11th Street Northeast in a slough about 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
Swanson, last seen in McHenry, had been driving his motorcycle eastbound on 11th Street Northeast, three miles east of McHenry, before leaving the roadway into the south ditch. He was ejected from the motorcycle, landing in the slough. He was found deceased from injuries sustained in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
