Silver Alert canceled
A Silver Alert for Landon Shuffelen, 11, of Stanley, has been canceled as of 6:16 p.m. Tuesday, July 11. Landon has been safely located.

State authorities have issued an alert for a missing 11-year-old boy from Stanley.
The alert issued by the North Dakota Highway Patrol and North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigations at the request of the Stanley Police Department this morning seeks to locate Landon Shuffelen, whose last known whereabouts was at his Stanley home on July 10 at 10:10 p.m. He is four feet tall, weighs 55 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen on foot, wearing a gray short-sleeved shirt, red shorts and no shoes.
At about 9:10 p.m. on Monday, Landon was reported missing to the Stanley Police Department. Police began searching the local area where the juvenile was last seen. As of 12:30 p.m. today, a grid search of the area is being conducted by local agencies.
Residents in the area are asked to check their property including any outbuildings, sheds, or unoccupied structures. The public is asked to contact the Mountrail County Dispatch at 628-2975 if they have any information.
