Ian Geller has joined the Ackerman-Estvold Minot office as GIS technician, and Greg Olson has been added to the office as senior construction inspector.
Geller earned a bachelor's degree in history from Minot State University and a master's degree in geography and GIS from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. He has a variety of experience in data input, collecting GIS information and resolving issues with GIS databases and maps.
His responsibilities will focus on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and will providing environmental expertise on a variety of projects throughout the region.
Olson earned an associate degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State School of Science, Wahpeton. He has more than four decades of extensive experience in highway construction and bridge inspection with the N.D. Department of Transportation and served as district materials coordinator for the past 17 years.
Olson will be primarily responsible for quality control and assurance on job sites, along with assisting with job site inspection on projects.
