FARGO - Solidarity Saturdays, a program of Prairie Action ND, returns Saturday with the fourth event of its spring series. Solidarity Saturdays is a virtual space for North Dakotans to build communities of empowered and informed advocates to raise their voices, support each other, and work for justice and equity.
May's Solidarity Saturday program is titled "Through a Progressive Lens: The State Legislative Session's Impact on the People and Families of ND." Special guest speaker is North Dakota House Minority Leader Representative Zac Ista.
The event will include a facilitated panel conversation with Cody Schuler of the ACLU, Andrew Bushaw of AFL-CIO, Katie Christensen of Planned Parenthood, Carol Sawicki with the League of Women Voters and Ali Hoffman with North Dakota United.
