By Charles Crane 1 min read

MAKOTI — A Parshall man was arrested and charged after an accident outside of Makoti in the evening of May 4, according to the Ward County Sheriff's Office.

One of the vehicles was occupied by three men from White Shield and the other was driven by Jeffrey Dion Hall, 47, Parshall. All four men were taken to an area hospital for treatment and the exact circumstances of the accident have not been made public at this time.

The crash was investigated by the Ward County Sheriff's Office, who say Hall was then arrested and charged with driving under the influence along with possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Hall was released under his own recognizance with a promise to appear.

Official charges have not yet been filed publicly with the district court, but court records do indicate that Hall was also charged traffic citations on May 4 for disregarding a stop sign, having an open container and driving without liability insurance. Hall's initial appearance is scheduled for May 22 at 9 a.m.
