NDHP promotes officer to lieutenant

Sgt. Ryan Duletski of the North Dakota Highway Patrol has been promoted to lieutenant, Col. Brandon Solberg announced.

Duletski began duties as the Northwest regional commander in Minot May 1.

Duletski joined the Highway Patrol in August 2007 after earning a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from the University of North Dakota. He attended the Highway Patrol Academy, graduating in February 2008.

Duletski was initially stationed in Williston as a traffic enforcement trooper. He transferred to New Salem in 2009. He then transferred to Bismarck June 1, 2013, and worked as a traffic enforcement trooper until he was promoted to sergeant March 1, 2016. Duletski served as a Southwest Regional Sergeant until he was assigned as director of Dignitary Protection Sept. 6, 2022.
