McKenzie Hauf
McKenzie Hauf is a co-valedictorian of the graduating class at Max Public School. Hauf has made her favorite memories of high school during her senior year. This fall she plans on attending the University of North Dakota to pursue a degree in marketing.
Her mother is a library director, and her father is a mechanic at Coal Creek Station. She also has an older brother.
"I would tell my five-year-old self to always stay true to myself and not to worry too much about what others think," Hauf said when asked what she would say to herself if she could go back in time.
Dalaney Ruhland
Dalaney Ruhland is the salutatorian of the graduating class at Max Public School. This fall she plans to attend the University of North Dakota to pursue a degree in biology on a pre-medicine track.
Her father is a construction worker, and her mother works at Max Public School as a paraprofessional. She has a younger brother who is a sophomore at Max Public School.
When asked if she could go back in time and give her younger self advice, Ruhland said, "I would tell my five-year-old self that you should always follow through with your dreams even if people doubt you."
Her favorite memories from high school center around participating in sports and setting up and hosting her class's senior pep rally.
