Local churches collaborate to serve the community
City Serve ND is ramping up for its second year of faith-based community service. More than 49 statewide community projects are planned to be completed between May 30 and June 3.
Nine churches of various denominations in Minot are partnering to better the community through projects such as spring clean-up around town, putting together freezer meals for first responders, replacing the roof on the Men’s Winter Refuge and assisting The Minot Dream Catchers softball league. Last year City Serve ND completed 32 projects across six cities in ND, contributing 1,930 volunteer hours.
