APUC awards marketing grant to Dakota Angus
BISMARCK — Dakota Angus was awarded $100,000 for marketing and education efforts from the North Dakota Agriculture Products Utilization Commission, according to Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring.
Dakota Angus is a partnership between Bruner Angus Ranch, near Drake, and Wendel Livestock, LaMoure. Dakota Angus provides Angus beef products from its farms to consumers’ tables, following strict grading guidelines and USDA grading specifications to ensure a quality product.
APUC awarded a total of $426,932 to five applicants at its quarterly meeting May 18.
